For pole fitness classes, we recommend shorts, plus a vest top or t-shirt. Having exposed skin on your legs will help you to grip the pole safely. If you are uncomfortable wearing shorts, you can wear shorts underneath joggers or leggings, then you’ll have the option to take the top layer off if you feel comfortable enough as the class progresses.

For pole dance classes, you can dress up or dress down – whatever makes you feel like your best dancing self. We recommend that you bring shorts and also kneepads if you have them, so that you’re prepared for whatever the class might cover.

For aerial hoop classes, we recommend leggings and a tight-fitting vest or t-shirt that covers your back and won’t come over your face as you mount and dismount the hoop. The aerial hoops are wrapped in an adhesive tape to aid your hand grip – covering your legs and back will protect your skin from the tape.

For children’s aerial hoop classes, we recommend that your child wears leggings to protect their leg skin from the abrasive surface of the hoop. We also ask that younger children do not wear any clothing that they might need assistance to get in and out of if they need the toilet during class, such as leotards. Tight-fitting clothing is best, as anything loose can become wrapped around the hoop as they move. We recommend that backs and midriffs are covered.

For flexibility classes, any stretchy clothing that you can move comfortably in is perfect. Most people opt for leggings and a t-shirt or vest top.
