Pole fitness classes are a unique, fun, all-over body and brain workout that help you to develop strength, flexibility and co-ordination (and you don’t need any of those things to start). We teach all levels, from complete beginners who rarely exercise, up to advanced pole dancers who have been training for years.

Our classes encompass spins, tricks, flow, combinations, strength and conditioning, flexibility, and everything else that pole fitness entails. We spend two weeks on static pole, and then two weeks on spinning pole, so everybody get an even amount of time on their favourite, and everybody develops a good balance of the different skills. We have six floor-to-ceiling X-Poles (the industry leading brand).

What should I wear?
For pole fitness classes, we recommend shorts, plus a vest top or t-shirt. Having exposed skin on your legs will help you to grip the pole safely. If you are uncomfortable wearing shorts, you can wear shorts underneath joggers or leggings, then you’ll have the option to take the top layer off if you feel comfortable enough as the class progresses.

Pole dance classes focus on techniques to flow and dance with the pole, helping you to find your own movement style, link moves and make them look effortless. It’s your choice whether you wear heels or socks for this class, which explores a range of movement styles with and without heels, including floorwork, low flow, leg work, choreography, and plenty more. It’s suitable for all levels of polers, from the curious beginner to experienced dancers – we have variations to cover all levels.

We recommend that you have at least a few weeks’ experience in beginners pole classes before giving this class a try. It’s useful to know step arounds, pirouettes, fan kicks and a few basic spins so that you have a good foundation to work with.

What should I wear?
For pole dance classes, you can dress up or dress down – whatever makes you feel like your best dancing self. We recommend that you bring shorts and also kneepads if you have them, so that you’re prepared for whatever the class might cover.

If you’ve ever watched a circus show and thought, “That looks fun, but I could never do that!” we’ve got news for you… you absolutely can!

Aerial hoop is a fantastically fun, all-over body and brain circus workout that will challenge your bravery and help you to develop fitness, strength, flexibility and co-ordination (you don’t need any of those things to start). Classes focus on tricks, flow, combinations, strength and conditioning, flexibility, and everything else that aerial hoop entails. We teach all levels, from complete beginners who rarely exercise, up to experienced aerialists.

What should I wear?
For aerial hoop classes, we recommend leggings and a tight-fitting vest or t-shirt that covers your back and won’t come over your face as you mount and dismount the hoop. The aerial hoops are wrapped in an adhesive tape to aid your hand grip – covering your legs and back will protect your skin from the tape.

Unlock your body and unleash a new range of movement that will benefit both your pole and aerial training, and your day-to-day life.

Flexibility classes are a must-have supplement to your pole and aerial training as you begin to progress up the levels. As well as expanding your range of motion, you’ll increase your body’s strength and use to learn muscle engagement to safely reach and hold positions at your end range of motion.

These sessions are suitable for anyone, with no previous experience required. You do not have to be bendy, or an existing pole or aerial student to attend these classes. We look at a variety of active and passive techniques to help you safely improve your flexibility at your own pace. We offer a weekly in-person class, as well as the option to purchase a recording to do at home at your own convenience.

What should I wear?
Any stretchy clothing that you can move comfortably in is perfect for flexibility classes. Most people opt for leggings and a t-shirt or vest top.

Aerial fitness classes are hugely beneficial for developing minds and bodies. These sessions help children to develop strong and healthy bodies, as well as improving their proprioception (body awareness), co-ordination, grace, motor skills and neurological development. Crucially, they also help to develop children’s confidence in their own abilities, showing them how strong and capable they really are.

Our fun mixed ability aerial hoop classes are suitable for children and teenagers up to the age of 16, whether they are completely new starters or they’ve done hoop before. The minimum age is 7 years old, everyone works on content tailored to their own level. All children are welcome at our studio – we pride ourselves on providing a safe space for all kinds of people. If you have anything specific you’d like us to know about your child, please do email us before their first class and we’ll be happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments necessary to give them the very best experience we can.

What should my child wear?
We recommend that your child wears leggings to this class to protect their leg skin from the abrasive surface of the hoop. We also ask that younger children do not wear any clothing that they might need assistance to get in and out of if they need the toilet during class. Tight-fitting clothing is best, as anything loose can become wrapped around the hoop as they move. We recommend that backs and midriffs are covered.
