Who we are
Inspire Studios is the trading name of Inspire Pole Dance & Aerial Arts Studios Ltd (company number 14034862). Our studio is at Unit 3b, The Woolmarket, Cirencester GL7 2PR.
You can reach us at hello@inspire-studios.co.uk or on WhatsApp on 07436 222564.
Booking classes
- You need to book before you attend. That helps us avoid overbooking, so everyone gets enough time on the equipment. If you arrive to class without booking ahead, you may be turned away.
- Payment must be made in full before your class begins.
- All classes are booked through TeamUp, our online booking system. You’ll complete a few health and safety forms there when you sign up. Completing them accurately before your first class is a condition of signing up, and we can’t take bookings without them.
- All relevant waivers must be completed, and our policies agreed to, before you can complete your booking for any session.
- Bookings are strictly non-transferable, so you can’t pass your place to someone else.
- If you’re new to pole, aerial or flexibility, please book a beginners class, even if you’ve danced or trained elsewhere. Not sure which class to pick? Email us, or look at the “best for beginners” section on Timetable & Pricing or our New to Pole & Aerial page.
- It’s your responsibility to check the level and description of any class you book and make sure it suits the level you’re working at. You’ll find the details for each class on TeamUp. If you’re unsure, email us.
- We welcome all-comers. Anyone can book a class with us, whether you’re only in the area briefly, usually train at another local studio, or are just coming for a one-off event like a workshop or photoshoot.
- Age limits are in our Policies & House Rules. If you’re 16 or 17, you need the consent of a parent or guardian before joining in with our adult group classes.
Families and children
- Children under 16 must be signed up by a parent or guardian, who manages their profile, payments and bookings.
- You can add more children and family managers to the account after you sign up. Class packs and memberships can be shared between family members.
- It’s the parent or guardian’s responsibility to complete everything correctly at sign up, including your child’s date of birth and relevant medical information. Please tell us about any changes before their next class.
- If your child has additional needs that need accommodating, please talk to us before you book.
- Children must be at least 7 years old to take part.
- Children attending without a parent need to be confident going to the toilet on their own. They must not wear clothes they need help getting in and out of if they need the toilet.
- Children must be able to follow instructions. If a child is disruptive, doesn’t pay attention to their instructors or doesn’t follow instructions, they may be asked to sit out the rest of the session, with no refund. If it keeps happening, they won't be allowed to return.
- Drop-off, collection, clothing, photos and safeguarding are covered in the children’s section of our Policies & House Rules.
Prices, payment and timetable
Our current prices are on the Timetable & Pricing page, and the price you’ll pay is shown on TeamUp when you book. Drop-ins, class packs and memberships are all paid for through TeamUp.
We may change our classes, timetable and prices. We’ll give notice of any changes where we can. Prices and timetables on TeamUp always supersede information stated on this website. We keep this website as up to date as we can, but it can occasionally go out of date and all information on here should be treated as guidance only. The most up-to-date information about memberships, booking, pricing and the timetable can always be found on TeamUp.
Cancelling a class
You agree to our 24 hour cancellation policy when you create your customer account with us. If you cancel a booked session...
At least 24 hours before
Your credit goes back into your membership or class pack allowance. If you paid for a single session and cancel it yourself on TeamUp, the money goes back to your bank account automatically. If you ask us to cancel for you, or we have to cancel and refund something manually, we’ll refund it as credit on your TeamUp account instead.
Less than 24 hours before
We can’t give a credit or a refund except in extenuating circumstances, and only then at our discretion. But if it’s us that cancels the session, you’ll always get a full refund or your credit returned.
- Private lessons follow the same 24 hour rule. If you don't cancel with enough notice, you'll still be liable to pay the balance to your instructor before you can book again.
- If you miss the warm-up and your instructor judges that warming you up separately to allow you to take part safely would be disruptive to the rest of the class, we can’t allow you to take part or give a refund.
- Workshops, photoshoots and special events are not refundable, but you can choose to sell your space on. Just let us know who’ll be taking your spot.
- Our fixed-date courses are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. If you cancel, drop out, or don't attend, we can’t refund or transfer the course or any of its sessions. The only exception to this is if you let us know you can't make a specific date before booking onto the course, in which case we may be able to agree to allow you to do a make-up class if there's another suitable session on the timetable, but this is at our discretion.
If we cancel or change a class
We aim to give at least 2 hours’ notice if we have to cancel a class, and we’ll offer a full refund. If we have to change a class time at short notice, we’ll text you if you’re booked on. If the new time doesn’t work for you, we’ll offer a refund.
Class packs
- Class packs are non-refundable and non-transferable, apart from your standard 14-day cooling-off period as required by UK law (see below).
- Every pack has an expiry date, counted from the first class you book with it. Any unused credits after that can’t be used, refunded or carried over, so please make sure you can use your pack up in time. We can sometimes extend it, as explained below.
- Your pack becomes valid from the date of the first class you book with it. If you book a class with a new pack and then decide to attend an earlier one instead, the system won’t let you book the earlier class with that pack. For example, if you buy a pack on Monday and book your first class for Wednesday, then cancel and want to attend on Tuesday instead, the system still treats your pack as valid from Wednesday. We can fix this for you. Just email us, tell us what happened and which class you’re trying to book.
- We may extend a class pack at our discretion if you have extenuating circumstances, or if we’ve cancelled classes you were booked onto and planning to attend. Classes can sometimes be cancelled because of unexpected circumstances or low numbers. If we cancel your preferred class, we’ll work with you to agree a fair amount of time to add to your pack.
- Credits can be used for timetabled group classes and open training. They can’t be used for private lessons, special events, photoshoots or workshops.
- Classes booked with a pack follow our 24 hour cancellation policy, so a credit only goes back on your account if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start time.
Your 14-day cooling-off period
This applies to new class packs and memberships. Under UK law, you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days of signing up, without admin fees or processing penalties. Classes, courses, workshops, parties and other events booked for a specific date or dates aren’t covered by this right.
Class pack and membership prices are discounted because they cover a set number of classes, and you get a discount for buying in bulk. If you cancel within the cooling off period and have already used some sessions, we refund the pack or membership, but deduct our normal drop-in rate for each class you booked in accordance with our usual attendance and cancellation policies.
We process these refunds by hand, so they go back as credit on your TeamUp account unless you ask for the money to go to your bank account.
Memberships
- A membership covers group classes at Inspire Studios, plus a set number of free open practice sessions each month, depending on your tier. It can’t be used for private lessons, special events or specialist workshops, unless we agree otherwise.
- Memberships include bonus perks, such as free open practice sessions and a Bring A Friend pass each quarter. Perks are subject to change. We’ll let members know in writing if perks are changing or increasing.
- Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable, apart from your standard 14-day cooling-off period as required by UK law (see class packs).
- Your credits reset with each payment period and aren’t carried over. It’s up to you to book and attend your full monthly allowance, though we can sometimes roll credits over, as explained below.
- In the same circumstances, we may roll some of your credits over at our discretion. If your regular class is cancelled, we’ll work with you to agree how many credits to roll over.
- If a monthly payment is 3 or more days late, all your upcoming bookings are cancelled and you can’t make new reservations until you’ve paid.
- You can use a membership alongside class packs if you need to top up your class allowance month to month. Class pack expiry dates and usage limits are separate from your membership.
- Introductory membership discount codes, like a discount on your first month, can only be used once per customer, even if you cancel or change your membership.
- You can upgrade your membership whenever you like. At the time of upgrade, you’ll be charged the difference and the extra classes are applied pro-rata, depending on where you are in your billing cycle. Your next scheduled payment and class credit allowance will then reflect your new membership tier.
- You can downgrade whenever you like too. Downgrades need the same 14 days’ notice as cancellations, but that is a TeamUp system restriction and we can override it. If you need us to, send us an email.
- You can pause or skip a month by emailing us at least 3 working days before your next payment date. You can pause for up to 3 months in a calendar year, with no penalty or fee.
- You can move your payment date. Email us at least 3 working days before your next payment date and tell us when you’d like your monthly payment to come out from then on. You can sign up whenever you’re ready and we’ll change the date for you afterwards. Your next payment may vary slightly because of the way TeamUp calculates pro-rata amounts.
Cancelling your membership
You can cancel yourself from your TeamUp account. We need 14 days’ notice, so cancel more than 14 days before your next billing date to avoid being billed for a final month. For step-by-step help, see TeamUp’s guide to cancelling a monthly membership.
More information about managing your membership is available on the Members page.
Trusted Member studio hire has its own conditions.
Taking part safely
Pole and aerial carry a degree of risk, as all exercise does. Please read our Policies & House Rules, which include our informed consent and health and safety policies, and tell us about any relevant injuries or health conditions before you start. Taking part is voluntary, and you can leave at any time. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
We’re only responsible for injury caused by negligence, such as equipment that hasn't been correctly maintained or used in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines. Nothing in these terms tries to change that. We’re not responsible for injuries that aren’t our fault, for example if you don’t follow your instructor’s guidance or our Policies & House Rules, try a move you’ve been asked not to, haven’t used crash mats, or haven’t told us about a relevant injury or health condition.
We can’t accept liability for loss or damage to personal property left at the studio.
These terms are governed by and do not supersede the laws of the United Kingdom.
We’ll let customers know about changes to these terms by email, using the address you gave when you signed up. We email everyone who has attended a session in the last 6 months.
Following our rules
- We can cancel your class packs, memberships and bookings, and ask you not to return, if you don’t follow these terms or our Policies & House Rules, or if you repeatedly show a lack of care and consideration for instructors or other students. This would be a last resort, after we’ve raised the problem with you directly.
- If you damage equipment through negligence, or by not following these terms or our Policies & House Rules, we may ask you to cover the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing it.
Parties, private lessons and hire
Private lessons
- The same cancellation rules as classes apply: we need at least 24 hours’ notice.
- With less notice, you lose your deposit and will need to pay any outstanding balance to your instructor before you can book another session. Your instructor may be able to reschedule at shorter notice than 24 hours, but that’s their decision.
Parties
- A £50 deposit secures your booking, or the full price if that’s less than £50. The balance is due at least 7 days before the party. If we haven’t received it by then and haven’t heard from you, your booking will be cancelled and we'll release our instructors. The deposit won't be refunded.
- Give us at least 14 days’ notice to cancel or move your party date and you get your deposit back. With less notice, you lose your deposit. We can still reschedule up to a week before the party, but that costs you 50% of your deposit.
- If you book a party or private lesson for a set number of people and fewer turn up, you pay for the number who came or the minimum for your package, whichever is higher. For example, a one-hour hen party has a minimum of 6 people. If you book for 7 at £20 each and only 5 turn up, you still pay £120. If 6 turn up, you also pay £120. If all 7 turn up, it's £140.
- If your booked numbers meant we needed an extra instructor and fewer people than expected turn up, you pay for the people who came plus the cost of the extra instructor.
Commercial studio hire
- Commercial hire follows the same terms as parties: the same £50 deposit (or the full cost if that’s less), the same balance deadline and the same rule if we don’t receive it.
- Give us at least 14 days’ notice to cancel or reschedule and you get your deposit back. With less notice you lose it, though with 7 to 13 days’ notice you can still reschedule for 50% of your deposit.

Contacting us
The best ways to reach us are email at hello@inspire-studios.co.uk or WhatsApp on 07436 222564. These are our preferred channels.
We’re a small business, and it’s hard to keep track of messages across lots of different channels. Messages sent on Instagram or Facebook Messenger, for example, can easily be missed. We monitor email and WhatsApp and aim to reply to every message there within 48 hours. We don’t make any promises or guarantees about other channels.
If we miss a message sent outside email or WhatsApp and that has a financial impact, for example you wanted to pause a membership payment, we can’t help. So if it matters, please use email or WhatsApp.
If something goes wrong
If something isn’t right or is unclear, email us at hello@inspire-studios.co.uk and we’ll do our best to put it right. Whether it's incorrect information on the website or TeamUp, or something to do with your in-studio experience, we're always keen to hear your feedback and know what's going well and what we can improve on.
